Activities For All Age Groups

1. Share your wedding video with your children. Discuss the vows that you and your  spouse made with each other.
2. Do an imagination picture walk. Ask children to close their eyes and imagine they are attending a wedding . What do they see? What does it look like? Where is God at this wedding in His house? Ask the children to draw a picture of a man and a woman making promises to each other in God’s house and with God looking over them.
3. Pick a favorite Bible story about a married couple and connect to discussion. Abraham  and Sarah, Isaac and Rebecca, Mary and Joseph, etc.
4. Find a copy of the Catholic rite of Marriage, and have your child read the words of the marriage ceremony and the traditional wedding vows  and the wedding blessing with you.
