It was established by Rev. Father Ted Dudzinski and modeled after the Knights of the Holy Temple. It remained a separate fraternity until August 11, 2007, when it officially became a chapter of the Knights of the Holy Temple.
From the Rule of Order:
“The purpose of the Knights of the Holy Temple is to provide an opportunity for young men of high school age to contribute to the life of their Catholic parish in a meaningful manner. In addition, the Knights afford the opportunity to delve more deeply into Truths of the Christian Faith and attend to their own spiritual formation (1).”
The Knights of the Holy Temple was established in 1999 by Rev. Fr. Brian Doerr in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana, and has been serving the Church and community ever since.
